This book is a collection of works published on the occasion of the exhibition "Women's 70s 1969-1986 Parco Poster Exhibition" held at the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum in 2001. "Parco" means "park" in Italian, and was born with the basic thesis of "bright, gorgeous, cheerful and stylish" images and "a unified group of outstanding personalities", and its unique advertising strategy in the 70s and 80s is still known today. In particular, in the 70s, the appointment of unique creators known as the "Three Girls" determined the early image strategy. These three were illustrator Harumi Yamaguchi, copywriter Kazuko Koike, and art director and designer Eiko Ishioka. This book introduces posters from that time that were produced by these three and many other creators. The accordion binding allows you to enjoy the large scale of the posters. The front side features posters, and the back side features a well-written article by Chizuko Ueno. Its sexually stimulating and catchy image was not aimed at men as in the past, but rather was a symbol of independent women, appealing to feminine individuality and assertiveness.
