Matatabi is a collection of works by Koji Onaka, one of Japan's leading photographers. In the late 1980s, before he was 30 years old, Koji Onaka started his own gallery ``Kaido'' with photographer Susumu Fujita in a corner facing Ome Kaido in Nishi-Shinjuku. Uncertain about his future, he continued to present landscape works in galleries that capture the original landscapes of Japan, including his hometown of Kyushu, in black and white. The first book is a collection of these works, and Onaka's masterpiece, `` Tall Awadachi Kusa” (1991). After that, he continued to serialize his work in Asahi Camera, and his second work, Distance, was published as a photo book in 1996. This early work was in black and white, but since 2000 he has been actively releasing color works, and the nostalgic images with a "Showa feel" are impressive, but this work was also shot around 2010 in various local cities. This is a book composed of Taonaka's typical colors. Published by Super Lab. Limited to 1000 copies.
