Family (First Edition) is a collection of works by Masahisa Fukase, one of postwar Japan's leading photographers. This book is one of Fukase's masterpieces, along with Ravens, and like Ravens, it is a masterpiece that has been reprinted in recent years by British publisher MACK. Fukase, who had never looked back at his hometown of Hokkaido for a long time after moving to Tokyo to attend university in the 1950s, returned to his hometown in the early 1970s when he turned 30 with his then-wife, Yoko, and took photos of his parents' home. He began taking ``family photos'' at the studio, and continued to do so until 1990, when his father, Sukezo, passed away and the photo studio went out of business. Family photos, which at the time were full of smiles and spice, with only one person posing nude, gradually lost their vitality as they got older and unhappiness in their family members, and eventually died. , we are faced with the sad reality that families are becoming "separated." This is a valuable first edition published by ICP (Inter Press Corporation) in 1991. (There are some scratches and stains due to adhesion to pages for the age.)
