Kiyoshi Awazu Wilderness Graphism is a collection of works by Kiyoshi Awazu (1929-2009), a designer who led post-war graphic design. Born in 1929. He studied painting and design on his own, and in 1955, his poster work ``Return the Sea'' won the Nissen Beauty Award at the ``Japan Advertising Art Association Exhibition,'' a competition that was a gateway to success for graphic designers at the time. In 1960, he joined Metabolism, a group founded by Kisho Kurokawa and other architects. Kiyoshi Awazu has created images full of originality that stand out from the post-war modern design trends such as Yusaku Kamekura. Although he passed away in 2009, his unique creativity continues to inspire us today, with exhibitions being held frequently even after his death. This book is a collection of catalog works published on the occasion of the exhibition "Graphism in the Wilderness: Kiyoshi Awazu Exhibition" held at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa in 2007. The elaborate book design by Shin Sobue is also impressive.
