"Die Mauer Ist Weg!" is a collection of works by British photographer Mark Power. Born in 1959, Power is currently a professor of photography at the University of Brighton and is also engaged in mentoring the next generation of photographers. After nearly 10 years of hard work as a freelancer, he began to make a name for himself in the 1990s with his architectural and industrial photography, becoming a candidate for Magnum Photos in 2002 and a full member in 2007. In recent years, he has also worked on the production of "Maintenance," which features photographs of the construction site of Toei Transportation, and the series of illustrations has been compiled into a photo book. This book is composed of images taken on site during the "Fall of the Berlin Wall," which Power was lucky enough to be present at in his younger days. The cover is designed to imitate the newspaper Power bought on site at the time, and the hot breath of life is conveyed. The first half of the book was shot in the crowded area, while the second half is made up of images of a visit to the grave of Bertolt Brecht, the famous German poet and playwright. This is a masterpiece that combines journalism and personal documentary. Limited to 1000 copies.
