Photo book "On the road" by Japanese photographer Daido Moriyama. Daido Moriyama, a photographer representing the Japanese photography world in the 20th century, has been active since the late 1960s. After working at Takeji Iwamiya's studio, he became an assistant to Eikoh Hosoe and witnessed the production of "Barakei" and other works. From the mid-1960s, an electrifying encounter with Takuma Nakahira led to the launch of "Provoke", which led to the masterpieces of the 1970s and beyond, "Hunter" and "Goodbye to Photography." Since the 1980s, Daido Moriyama, the god of snaps, has always been at the forefront of the 90s, represented by "Light and Shadow," "Travel to Nakaji," "Color," and "Hysteric." This book is a large book containing more than 330 illustrations in the catalog photo collection published for the "Daido Moriyama Photo Exhibition on the Road" held at the National Museum of Art, Osaka in 2011. According to the photographer, "It's a roadmap followed by a single photographer, and a temporary resume that runs parallel to time."
