Japanese photographer Shuichi Aki's photo book "My Genealogy (No Slipcase, Signed)". Born in Tokushima Prefecture in 1956, moved to Osaka in the 1970s and studied under Egiri Arino, a photographer who has won the Ina Nobuo Award. Since the 1980s, exhibitions have been held at Nikon Salons and other venues. His first photo book was "People in Subway" in 1987. In 1993, Shuichi Aki's "Zoo" was included in the collection "Horozion", which was published mainly by Shunji Dodo and included Jun Abe's representative work "Citizen". . Arino's individuality can be seen in the composition and depiction of reflections, and the sensibility that captures the "strange" elements that reminds me of Issei Suda is also appealing. This book is a three-part composition composed of illustrations of "People in the car / People in Subway", "City / City", and "Birth town / My Home Town" taken in the local Tokushima and Osaka in the 80's and 90's. . Unlike the "subway" that many great people such as Walker Evans and Nobuyoshi Araki have included, the portrait of the passengers from the front will surprise you. Signed by photographer (missing slipcase) .
