"Berner Blitz" is a photo book by Rene Burri, a leading Swiss photographer. Rene Burri was active as a journalist after the war as an early member of Magnum Photos, and in recent years has been selected as a collaboration artist for Comme des Garçons. Active as a photojournalist since the 1950s, leaving behind famous portraits such as the portrait of Che Guevara, he also has close friendships with many artists, including Picasso and Gecomeetti, and exquisitely displays their portraits and studios. Captured with a sense of distance, Rene Burri was also active as a photo artist. This book contains illustrations edited and organized focusing on "color" from the works shot so far. Printed on thin polypropylene paper with good coloring, masterpieces are introduced by categories such as nature, religion, industry, politics, and architecture.
