Japanese female photographer Rinko Kawauchi's photo book "Sowing Seeds / Semear". Born in 1972. In 2002, he won the 27th Kimura Ihei Photo Award for his photobooks "Utatane" and "Fireworks", and since then he has continued to be active worldwide, including holding exhibitions overseas. Rinko Kawauchi has won the 25th Infinity Award for Art, the 63rd Art Encouragement Prize for Newcomer of the Arts in 2013, and the 29th Higashikawa Award for Photographers. Even now, after getting married and having a baby, he is still actively working on a collection of works that describe his daily life with his children and family. In response to an offer from the Museum of Modern Art, São Paulo, to take pictures of "Nikkei society", it is composed of illustrations taken after a total of three visits to Brazil. As a result, the book was compiled to convey not only the Nikkei community, but also the appeal of Brazilian culture and the splendor of its diversity, including the natural beauty of the region and events such as carnivals.
