This book is a complete set of all 10 issues of the "Nude" series published by Haga Shoten around 1980. Supervised by Ippei Ito, a critic who teaches at Tokyo Photography College and is also known for writing about numerous nudes, and Eikoh Hosoe, a photographer representing post-war Japanese photography, and designed by Mitsuo Katsui. It was published with a different text and theme for each issue. Masters of nude photography include Lucien Clergue, Irina Ionesco, Guido Mangold, Jeanloup Sieff, Alan D. Turnbull, Jack Alexander, James Baez, Karl de Haan, Dieter Schmidt and more . The selected images and the layout are beautiful, and it is a wonderful series of works that are typical of this era.
