A photo book "Grasshopper" by Japanese photographer Koji Onaka. Born in Fukuoka Prefecture, Koji Onaka participated in the legendary self-managed gallery "CAMP" founded by Daido Moriyama and Keizo Kitajima after graduating from Tokyo Photography College (currently Tokyo Visual Arts). Since then, he has held exhibitions both in Japan and overseas, including the gallery Kaido, which reopened in 2016, even though it was temporarily closed. He is known for his poetic and lyrical landscapes, including his early representative works "Tall Awadachigusa" and "Distance". This book is a collection of works composed of color landscapes that have been energetically worked on since the 1990s. From Hokkaido in the north to Okinawa in the south, there are 93 illustrations taken locally, especially in coastal port towns and farming villages all over the country. It is a sister version of "Dragonfly", which was later published by the same Toseisha.
