Yasuhiro Ishimoto's photo book "Chicago, Chicago / Chicago, Chicago (With OBI & Case Lid)", which is counted as a masterpiece in the history of Japanese photo books, along with "One day there" and "Katsura". In this book, the buildings, signs, people, streets, children, beaches, etc. of the city of Chicago, where I learned photography when studying abroad at the New Bauhaus, are shown. A number of works that are overwhelmed by sophisticated sensibility, calculated composition, and outstanding sense of form. This book was designed by Yusaku Kamekura. Selected from thousands of sheets, narrowed down to less than 200 sheets, and furthermore, the difficult and luxurious plate making called two-color photographic plate is applied. Foreword by photography teacher Harry Callahan. Text by Shuzo Takiguchi. Comes with a very rare obi. With lid. (Recorded in The Japanese Photobook 1912–1990)
