A photo book "Laughing Kamogawa" by Japanese photographer Fusayoshi Kai. Kai, who was born in 1949 and started photography at the age of 11, has been presenting his work since the 1970s by publishing photobooks and holding photo exhibitions, many of which are based on Kyoto. In 1972, he opened Honyarado with folk singer Nobuyasu Okabayashi. It is said that this place became a base for many poets in Kyoto, but it burned down in 2015, and Kai's black and white negatives were lost. In the 1970s, he held an exhibition of photographs taken against the blue sky. We are still actively holding exhibitions and publishing photo books, but this book is one of the series published at our own expense in the early 1990s. A book composed of selected illustrations. At the end of the book, you can feel the humanity of the photographer at the end of the book with captions filled with love for all illustrations.
