Photo book "Days in the Dregs (Second Printing)" by Tadahiko Hayashi, a leading post-war Japanese photographer. Tadahiko Hayashi was born in Yamaguchi Prefecture in 1918. During the war, Tadahiko Hayashi was involved in the photographic record of China's five generation industries at a news and propaganda agency attached to the embassy in Beijing. After returning to Japan in 1946, he devoted himself to working around magazines to make a living, and his desire to find a little light that had been liberated from the oppressive society and a desire to die in order to live had a rush. He is a photographer who has continued to pursue Japan in the post-war chaotic "Showa" period. This book is a collection of works that condensed the climate, customs, and culture of that time. This is a valuable collection of records that desperately captured the gorgeous American soldiers and the Japanese people living in their shadow while drinking "Kastori", a liquor that tastes nothing like methyl alcohol. Includes snapshots of literary figures such as Hayashi's masterpieces "Sakunosuke Oda" and "Osamu Dazai". A wonderful book edited by Akira Hasegawa, who is familiar with Masahisa Fukase's "Crow" and Koji Onaka's "Tall Awadachigusa". Text by Junnosuke Yoshiyuki. 2nd printing.
