This book is the 18th season image visual of the collection brand "Comme des Garçons Hommes" published in November 1984. Although it is a seasonal image, unlike general fashion brands, the lookbook produced by Garçon is a collaboration with an artist. Its history continues to the present, nearly 50 years after the brand was founded in the 1970s. Homme debuted in 1978 as a new standard men's line based on the concept of Good Sense, Good Quality, adding just the right amount of newness to a classical design. This photo was taken by Hajime Sawatari, who has done a lot of commercial work such as gravure and female nudes. The styling is by Yumiko Hara, who was a leader among stylists in post-war Japan and was involved in the launch of "an an". And the art direction is the well-known Toji Murata. Includes 4 illustrations. The models are Giorgio de Marquis (director of the Italian Cultural Institute), Iori Noguchi (representative of Sumtime), Giorgio Mantiki (university professor), and Yoshio Akioka (industrial designer).
