A collection of works by Japanese photographer Akihiko Nariai, "Swaying Beyond". Born in Shimane Prefecture in 1952, graduated from the "Moriyama Daido Classroom", a terakoya-style workshop and photography school planned and supervised by Shomei Tomatsu in the 1970s. Speaking of the Daido Moriyama classroom, it is the class that sent out Keizo Kitajima and Seiji Kurata, who later became Japan's leading photographers, and they released their energy at the independent gallery called "CAMP". Nariai has also been active for a long time, continuously releasing solo exhibitions and photo collections based in his hometown. In addition to publishing Matsue Landscape (2008) and Harukanarukawa (2015), he has also self-published Matsue Hatsu No1 - No4 (4 volumes in total). This is the first book published in 1997. It is composed of black and white cut out fragments of everyday life, but it is a book that fascinates with a certain sense of seeing and cutting things.
