After purchasing a Leica and receiving instruction from an acquaintance, he worked as a contract photographer for Ulstein in Berlin and served in the Manchurian Incident. After Hitler's dictatorship, he returned to Japan and established Nihon Kobo in order to spread "news photography" using photographs at a time when there were only news photographs and salon photographs in newspapers, and portrait photographs in business photo studios. This book is a collection of photographs and graphic works by Natori and Nihon Kobo. Edited by Mari Shirayama and Yoshio Hori, who are pioneers in the research of Ihei Kimura and Yonosuke Natori.
