A collection of works by Gary Winogrand (1928-1984), one of the leading photographers of the 20th century. Along with Lee Friedlander and others, he is a master of post-war American photography. His wide-angle lens, sometimes eerie and somewhat unstable, expands the possibilities of street photography and is a pleasure to look at. It was a push to expand. He died of gallbladder cancer at the young age of 56, and since many unpublished works were discovered later, his fame and reputation continued to grow even after his death. This book is a collection of catalog works published on the occasion of a major retrospective exhibition that began in 2013 at SFMoMA in San Francisco, followed by the National Gallery, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and across the sea to Paris and Madrid. Great work. Speaking of her major works during her lifetime, she is "The Animals," "Women are Beautiful," and "Public Relations." Edited by Leo Rubinfein.
