A collection of works by Japanese photographer Masaru Hiraga (1967-) "Holes of Tokyo Bay". 2004 25th Shinpusha Publishing Award Hummingbird Award winning work. There are countless distorted holes in Tokyo Bay. . . He picked up a lot of empty cans of juice, beer, etc., and arranged them in an unusually neat way, including the spout, bottom, sides, and crushed cans. There are countless barnacle holes in the empty cans, and they make a mysterious pattern. If you look closely, you will notice that each one has a completely different pattern. Just looking at the empty cans neatly lined up and the patterns created by the barnacles on them gives me a strange feeling. How did you come up with something tinged with melancholy that is unique to monochrome works, and why did you create such a pattern? Whether it's something that raises questions, or something that makes you laugh, it's a work that seems to be entrusted to the viewer's point of view.
