Joel Meyerowitz's photo book "St. Louis & The Arch (Hardcover)", a representative of American new color photography. Myrowitz was shocked by his work with Robert Frank, who worked as an art director, and aspired to be a photographer. Since then, he has taken on the challenge of color photography of streets and landscapes, and initially published a snapshot collection "Wild Flowers" with the motif of "flowers". In recent years, he has also published a collection of still life photographs taken at the studios of the art masters Morandy and Cezanne, and has been energetically continuing his activities. This book is a masterpiece of Myrowitz along with Wild Flowers, and is a collection of landscapes created with the motif of St. Louis's representative monument "Gateway Arch". The large arch, both 192m high and 192m long, is a symbol of the region created to commemorate the beginning of the western reclamation of the United States. I photograph the symbol of such a city from various viewpoints and fragments.
