"Self-Portraits" is a photo book of Yurie Nagashima, a leading female photographer in Japan. In "empty white room" (1995), my friends are friends, in "Family" (1998), my family's daily life, in "Not Six" (2004), my husband, and in "SWISS", my family. Yurie Nagashima has taken pictures of her life abroad with her child and her feelings through depictions of people close to her. He won the Kimura Ihei Award in 2000 and the Kodansha Essay Award for his essay collection "Memory of the Back" in 2015. He is a photographer with an excellent literary talent. This book is a paperback book-sized book published by a bookstore / publisher in New York in 2020, and is a photo book published after a long time. A self-portrait that I started taking on my own initiative in a way that repelled the hair nude boom of the 90's. After that, it was a number of works that were sublimated into a series with various meanings, such as as a record of oneself and sometimes as a means of appealing feminism.
