"With" is a photo book by Ken O'Hara, one of Japan's leading photographers. Born in 1942, after dropping out of Nihon University, he moved to the United States in 1987, studied at the Art Students League of New York in New York, and then worked as an assistant under Richard Avedon and Hiro Wakabayashi. I am. Ohara then embarked on a unique project that would later make his name in the photography world. I took portraits of people living in New York and its suburbs, took a close-up of it, cut it off with contours, and laid it out in parallel. This project was published as this book "ONE" in 1970, and received a great deal of attention in Japan and the United States. This is the "1 hour exposure / portrait" series reminiscent of the ONE series. This is a conceptual book that contains not only humans but also exposure portraits of memos and phrases in books.
