A collection of works by Japanese photographer Tsutomu Yamagata "Ten Disciples (Second Edition, Signed)". Graduated from Keio University Faculty of Law, Department of Law. He spent his time as an office worker until his mid-thirties, but after that he left the office and turned into a photographer. He also studied at a workshop hosted by photographer Satoru Watanabe, and in 2012 released a collection of portraits "Kokushi Musou" taken in the Ueno Shinobazu area, and this work is the second work. At the same time as his father's cancer was discovered at the time of his child's birth and the doctor began treatment with a Western medical approach, Yamagata sought a cure with an Oriental medical approach. Then you will come across Tamagawa Onsen in Akita. The rocks in this hot spring have a high radium content, and many cancer patients visit and soak in the area like a bedrock bath, like radiation therapy. Yamagata, who was interested in the mysterious sight of life and death wandering around, went to the area after that, visited about 30 times in 5 years, and repeated shooting. A wonderful book that depicts the floating aspect of reality and unreality in black and white. This book is a revised new edition and hardcover edition announced the year after the first edition was published in 2015. Autographed by a photographer .
