British artist David Sylvian's photo book "Perspectives". Formed the legendary new wave band "Japan / JAPAN" with his brother Steve Jansen, Mick Karn, Richard Barbieri and others in the 1970s. In Japan, Sylvian boasted tremendous popularity among Japanese music fans, having held live performances at the Budokan in the 1980s and being famous for his collaboration with Ryuichi Sakamoto. One of the creative sources of that charisma is "photography". Photographs with abstract images and stories that resonate with the sounds Sylvian creates. Although it has been held at photo exhibitions in Japan in recent years, this book is a collection of Sylvian's early photo works. A book composed of Polaroid collages that reminds us of the photographic works of painter David Hockney. Close friends Ryuichi Sakamoto and photographer Yuka Fujii also appear as subjects.
