"Good Dog (Signed)", a collection of works by Turkish photographer Yusuf Sevinchuri (1980-). Originally from Zonguldak, a port city facing the Black Sea in the northwestern part of the Asia Minor Peninsula, Sevinchuri studied video and documentary at a university in Istanbul, then went to Sweden to study photography at Nordens Fotoskola. Exhibitions are held in various European countries. Currently, I am working at an art gallery in Paris, belonging to "Gallery Le Filles du Calvaire" to which Todd Hido, Karen Knorr, Lise Sarfati, Diana Markosian and others belong. So far, we have published a collection of seven works, but this is the first book. The title "Good Dog" is also a homage to Daido Moriyama's "Stray Dog" (stray dog), which shows respect, and is a beautiful book with high-contrast monochrome illustrations inherited from Daido.
