William Eggleston's photo book "Los Alamos Revisited", a pioneer of new color photography in the United States. Los Alamos is Eggleston's early color work, consisting of illustrations taken during a trip from the western to southern United States with curator Walter Hopps from 1966 to 1974. In 2003, it was compiled as a collection of works by the late legendary publisher Scalo, but this is a gorgeous book that can be said to be an updated and complete version. The unrecorded illustrations contained in the Box found after Hopps' death in 2005 have been newly incorporated, and a large-format three-part volume with a total of 578 pages has been completed. Eggleston is a gentleman's and American, but delicate and elegant color, unlike the intellectual and architectural ones such as Luigi Ghirri of Italy, who is currently being re-evaluated and has a close relationship with Eggleston. This is a collection of works filled with the charm of a man who continued to take cool color photographs in the remote countryside of the United States.
