A collection of works by Japanese photographer Tomoki Kubota "Ashio / Ashio (Signed)". Born in Ashio-machi, Tochigi Prefecture in 1967, he began taking photographs around 2007, and in 2014 he had a group exhibition "Traveling 2 / Camera that does not travel" (Place M Gallery), and in the same year he had a group exhibition "Mazell-Be! 2" ( I am participating in Bright Photo Salon). And here is a collection of works published in 2015, a book from Red Stream Photography, which was established by photographer Koichi Akagi and photo critic Kenji Takazawa, and supports the production of self-published photobooks. As the title suggests, it was shot in the hometown of Ashio, but speaking of Ashio, many news photographers made a name for themselves after the war due to the closure of Ashio Copper Mine and the riots, and to contain reportage. Visited to shoot and many photo books were published. Kubota's Ashio is a polite depiction of the original landscape of Japan that is being forgotten, while leaving some remnants of it. Limited to 300 copies. With edition number. Autographed and printed by the photographer .
