A collection of works by Japanese photographer Hideo Takiura, "Tokyo Bodies". Born in Tokyo in 1963, after graduating from the Department of Landscape Architecture, Tokyo University of Agriculture, after working at the Landscape Design Institute, became independent as a photographer in 1991. We have taken snapshots of landscapes, architecture, cities, etc., and have held exhibitions with the motif of "Tokyo" so far. In addition, exploring the possibilities of panoramic cameras is also a lifework, and in the co-authorship with Tatsuo Iwaoka, "When a small house on a street corner becomes a landscape" (2004), the lens is rotated 160 degrees in the horizontal direction to create a single image. I shoot with a strange camera that shoots images. This book is Takiura's masterpiece, titled "Tokyo Body" with the motif of "Tokyo People", and is composed of illustrations taken in the 2000s. There are many works that are fascinating, such as stunning "removed" snaps reminiscent of Issei Suda and Mitsugu Onishi, and unique perspectives and compositions such as Hiroo Kikai's "Tokyo Labyrinth." Limited to 500 copies.
