"Into Summer / Insert in Summer (Signed)" is a collection of works by Nobuyoshi Araki, one of Japan's leading postwar photographers. From the 1960s, which began with "Satchin," which won the Taiyo Prize, to the 1970s, which was born from his meeting with his beloved wife Yoko and represented by "Sentimental Journey," which could be said to be the beginning of "Araki's Personal Photography," to the 1980s, when he teamed up with the famous editor Akira Suei to create radical depictions and the height of "eros," and even to the 1990s, when he demonstrated his talent in video expression, and in the 1990s, following Yoko's death, he began to depict more sentimental feelings through still lifes and landscapes. Araki has continued to explore various styles to suit his own feelings and the mood of the times. Since 2000, he has released a collection of works like a "diary" every year, and since 2010, he has continued his creative activities despite suffering from vision loss in his right eye, and exhibitions and photo books have yet to stop being published. This book is a collection of works edited by Hisako Motoo and published in 2006 in a limited edition of 700 copies, consisting of snapshots and landscapes taken in the Setagaya area and alleys. It is an interesting collection of works that shows Araki's perspective of wandering the city under the beautiful blue summer sky.
