A photo book of Japanese photographer Tetsuhiko Hata, "A Certain Existence". Born in 1945. Tetsuhiko Hata, who graduated from the Department of Photography and Industry, Tokyo Polytechnic University, teaches at the Faculty of Arts, Tokyo Polytechnic University, and is appointed as an emeritus professor. Aside from his teaching affairs, he seems to have continued his own creations, and has been holding solo exhibitions at the Pentax Gallery and Shinjuku Nikon Salon since the 1970s, and has participated in exhibitions in recent years. This book is a compilation of the series "Sure Existence" that Hata has been publishing regularly since the 1980s. It is divided into four parts, such as "existence," "existing self," "certain existence," and "certain existence-everything is beautiful." "What I think of the scene I photographed is that it can sensuously overlap with my past experiences. It's a confirmation when it's gone, in other words, a confirmation of my existence. I spell it out in the postscript, but I can feel the certain sensibility of the field in the many static scenes.
