Japanese photographer Joji Hashiguchi's photo book "Seventeen's Map". Born in 1949, Hashiguchi, who publishes a large collection of portrait works taken under a specific theme setting, reflects the human heart and dignity through portraits of people, and through portraits the society behind them. I'm recording. This book is a collection of 17-year-old portraits taken all over the country from Rebun Island in Hokkaido to Yonaguni Island in Okinawa. The title reminds me of Yutaka Ozaki, but it captures the young people of "the delicate age of being neither adults nor children" (from the postscript) head-on. Most of them are students, but some are working and some are housewives, and their circumstances and lifestyles vary, and the attached personality text complements the image in the photo. "Isn't it possible to try to highlight the various differences between Japan's 17-year-olds and at the same time see Japan today? That's why this work started" (from the postscript). Obi missing.
