Japanese photographer Michio Yamauchi's photo book "City / Stadt (Signed)". Michio Yamauchi, a photographer of the'Daido direct line'who studied under Daido Moriyama. Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1950, after graduating from Waseda University, after working as a journalist, entered the current Tokyo Visual Arts at the age of 29, and then participated in the legendary'image shop CAMP'by Keizo Kitajima and others. While presenting photographs at galleries and solo exhibitions, he gradually works mainly on the production of photo books. He has released works not only in Tokyo but also in Asia such as Shanghai and Hong Kong, and has won many awards such as the Domon Ken Award, Tadahiko Hayashi Award, and Nobuo Ina Award. This book is the first photo book published by Sokyusha in 1992. Snaps taken in Tokyo in the 1980s are recorded, and close-up portraits of people in the city are included, and Yamauchi-like works with outstanding physical characteristics and individuality are lined up.
