A collection of works by Japanese photographer Masashi Utsumi (1915-1975). Masashi Utsumi was a member of the "Spiegel Photographers Association" founded in 1952 by eight members of the Tampei Photo Club led by Nakaji Yasui. Born in 1915, graduated from Osaka University School of Medicine, his main business is a doctor. He was a surgeon at Osaka University, a surgeon at a municipal hospital, and a contract surgeon at NYK Line. Speaking of Spiegel members, the monochrome mental landscape is also synonymous with the style that was inherited by Takeji Iwamiya, Yasushi Sugino, and Nagagiri Arino. This book contains 26 unbound monochrome plates and 4 separate texts, for a total of 30 sheets, and is also included in "Spiegel Photobook -The 20th Anniversary of the Founding-" (1973). The depiction of the wind is also included, and works with an atmosphere like the 70's are lined up. In addition to the textbook of Shisui Tanahashi, comments by relatives are also included. This is a book published by relatives after the sudden death.
