A collection of works by Shomei Tomatsu, one of Japan's leading photographers after the war, "Hue and Touch Nagasaki Shomei Tomatsu Exhibition". This book is a collection of catalog works published at the exhibition of the same name held at the Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum in 2009. The point of contact between Higashimatsu and Nagasaki began in 1961. I visited the area for interviews with Ken Domon and others, and the results were summarized as "hiroshima-nagasaki document 1961", which conveyed the actual situation of the city even more than 15 years after the atomic bomb was dropped. After that, he continued to shoot as an individual, and in 1966 released a collection of works "<11:02> Nagasaki". After that, although he moved to Okinawa, he continued his "pilgrimage" in Nagasaki as a life work and moved to Nagasaki in 1998. In 2000, the record of shooting for nearly 40 years was compiled as "Nagasaki Mandala". This exhibition focuses on "color" and "unpublished" works since 1975, and strongly hopes that the fact of the atomic bomb will not be weathered and will be passed on to the next generation. It will be an exhibition that everyone asks the world.
