A photo book "Alive (Unopened)" by Japanese photographer Seiichi Furuya. Born in Nishiizu, Shizuoka Prefecture in 1950, he moved to Austria via Siberia and Moscow from the early 1970s after studying photography at university. After that, while doing creative activities based in Graz, he was in charge of the launch and editing of the photo magazine "Camera Austria", and held exhibitions by Shomei Tomatsu, Nobuyoshi Araki, Daido Moriyama and others. He is also a photographer who has made an effort to introduce Japanese photographs in Europe. Speaking of Seiichi Furuya, the work of his wife Christine, who met in Graz, got married, and later died herself, was mentioned as a representative work, and she was a personal person who continued to nurture love through photographs and memoirs while keeping in mind and remembering her. I continue to create documentaries. This book is a collection of works published at the time of the exhibition held in Vienna in 2004, and consists of works taken in Okinawa and Izu in the 1970s, portraits of Christine, and other snapshots taken all over the world. I am. Monochrome color. From the now-defunct Swiss legendary publisher Scalo. New unopened.
