A collection of works by Daido Moriyama, one of Japan's leading photographers, "Daido Tokyo (Fair Copy)". Collaboration with Takuma Nakahira and his allies in the 1960s, represented by the first book "Nippon Theater Photograph Book" published while exploring his own style from the encounter with Eikoh Hosoe and Shomei Tomatsu and Shuji Terayama. In the 1970s, when he released "Provoke" and, as a culmination of it, a challenging work "Goodbye Photographs" that overturned the preconceived notions of photography, after a temporary stagnation period, he returned to the origin of photography and revived "Hikari". Daido Moriyama has created his own style through trial and error with the times, in the 1980s of "Tokage" and in the 90s when he regained his powerful style through collaboration with Hysteric Glamor. This book is a collection of catalog works published at the exhibition held at the Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art in France in 2016. The first half is color, and the second half is monochrome with changed paper specifications (wet marks at the bottom of the first half color page).
