A collection of works by Japanese photographer Shuji Yamada "New Edition" Nihonmura "1960-2020". Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1939, after graduating from Kuwasawa Design Institute, he got a job at Toppan Printing to become a graphic designer, studied printing and photography, and became a freelance photographer after leaving the company. He has been active mainly in architectural and art-related photography such as the magazine "SD", and in the 1970s, he announced "Nihonmura" in SD etc., which contained landscapes and snaps of various places such as traveling all over Japan with used cars. This has solidified my position as a photographer. However, in the early 1980s, he suddenly declared the end of the cameraman and changed to "Kawalaman" and moved to Awaji Island. Through the planning, manufacturing and sales of roof tiles, we jumped into the world of beauty that creates architecture and space. This book is a newly published design as a revised and expanded version of the leading masterpiece "Nihonmura 1969-79 / Japan Village 1969-79" published by Kishin Shinoyama and others in 1979. Most of the works are from the 70's, and other landscapes of Awaji Island and Tokyo taken after 2000 also include plates taken in New York, Hong Kong, Cambodia, etc. as extra editions.
