"Salt & Truth", a collection of works by American photographer Shelby Lee Adams. Adams traveled to the Appalachian Mountains for the first time with his uncle, who was a doctor when he was a boy, and resonated with his life and people, and began shooting "Appalachian" in the mid-1970s. Since then, Adams' theme has remained unchanged in the 21st century and has consistently pursued the Appalachian. The collection of works includes "Appalachian Portraits" (1993), "Appalachian Legacy" (1998), and "Appalachian Lives" (2003), and this work is the fourth work. The recorded works are still mainly portraits, but most of them are composed of plates taken in the 2000s. I don't wear flashy clothes or makeup, but the appearance of people living in nature is graceful and full of love. Although it never looks like people living in the 21st century from the photographs, it is a wonderful collection of works that depicts the true beauty of human beings, who love the region, love nature, and love their families.
