American photographer Alex Webb's photo book "Crossings Photographs from the US --Mexico Border". Webb, who has been working on photography since high school, has participated in workshops by master Bruce Davidson and others known for his masterpieces such as "Subway" and "Brooklyn Gang", and Harvard University (History and Literature). After going on to school, he studied at the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts in the same facility, and after graduating he started his career as a journalist. In 1979, he became a full member of Magnum Photos and is a photographer who continues to energetically present his works. Set in Mexico, the Caribbean, the Middle East and Africa, the web's depictions, created with bold compositions and contrasting colors, and skillfully using light and shadow, have a strong journalistic message. It is also described as a pioneer of "color journalism" from a different perspective than "color". This book is a collection of works composed of color plates taken on the US-Mexico border.
