Finland's leading photographer Esko Mannikko's photo book "Time Files". Manniko is a photographer based in Oulu, northern Finland. Initially, he focused on the scenery, life, and portraits of his hometown of Northern Finland, and since the 1980s, he has been featured in domestic exhibitions and has begun to attract attention. Then, in 1995, the first overseas solo exhibitions were held in Stockholm and New York, and Manniko's name became known all over the world. Strongly conscious of himself as a visual artist, his carefully calculated and unique composition and balanced color scheme are sometimes compared to the work of painting master Johannes Vermeer. This book is a collection of catalog works published at the exhibitions held in Helsinki Turku, Finland and Gothenburg, Sweden from 2014 to 2015, and contains illustrations taken in the 1990s and 2010s. A large book with nearly 250 pages. From storytelling like a documentary in your own country to contemporary artistic nuances, on the other hand, it is a book that will be a great learning experience, such as the Scandinavian sense that Japanese people like and the sensibilities and thoughts that are different from Japanese people.
