"Silent Histories", a collection of works by Japanese photographer Kazuma Obara. Born in Iwate Prefecture in 1985, he has been working on photography since he was a high school student, and when he was a university student, he traveled the world to take snapshots, but after graduating he got a job at a financial institution. When I was a company employee, I was impressed by photojournalist Kuni Takahashi, and when I participated in Takahashi's workshop, I started to become a photographer in earnest. After the Great East Japan Earthquake, I quit the company in a hurry and headed to Tohoku to capture local disaster activity support and encounters with people, and the series came to fruition as "Reset Beyond Fukushima". After that, 45 copies of "Silent Histories" were made by hand, following the victims of the air raids in the Pacific War. This book is a popular edition of the collection of works, which has been nominated for Paris Photo and received numerous awards. It is a creative and thoughtful book that interweaves the past and present with the image of the album tailoring, and also attaches separate volumes such as "Handicapped Person's Handbook" and "Shashin Shuho" that conveys the reality at the time of the air raid. ..
