An amateur photography group that was active in Kansai before the war. Most of the professionals at that time, even amateurs, were sales photographers, and it was the amateurs who supported fine-art photography. Along with Naniwa Photo Club and Tampei Photo Club, Ashiya Camera Club was a leader in prewar avant-garde photography in Kansai. The main members are Iwata Nakayama, who returned to Japan after working abroad, which was rare at that time, Yoshinosuke Kotani, who also supported financially as a patron, Kiyoji Goryeo, who has wonderful portraits and nude works, and a photo material store in Ashiya.
