A collection of works by Japanese photographer Shoichiro Suzuki, "Cloud". Born in Aichi prefecture in 1916, he joined the Japan Meteorological Agency in 1927. Then, around 1930, Shoichiro Suzuki joined the All Japan Photography Federation and started shooting clouds. It seems that many of the works were published in science textbooks for elementary, middle and high school students. The work taken as a hobby and research has become an artist with an excellent artistry through the dialogue between nature and the photographer, and combined with the depth of gravure printing, it is a wonderful work collection. From the following postscript, “Thirty-five years since the clouds passed, 10,000 sheets of film have quietly settled in my negative holder telling a silent history. There are also negatives that record the honor of being a photographer. Some clouds are used in reference books to talk about the weather with the children studying. Each one of 10,000 pieces confirms the history of the weather at that time, and my living sign that fought against the clouds. It's inscribed."
