A collection of works by Japanese photographer Munemasa Takahashi, "Tsunami, Photographs, and Then". After the Great East Japan Earthquake, Takahashi headed to Tohoku to see what he could do, and he participated in a project called "Memory Salvage," a project in which he took photos taken in the disaster to the owner. Takahashi lost his father to suicide in his twenties, but at that time, he was a photographer's instinct and experienced the act of taking a picture with his camera at his father's scene. Therefore, I realized the meaning of "leaving a picture" and realized it, and Takahashi is absorbed in this project. Then, while considering the disposal of the damaged photos that cannot be returned to the owner, the “Lost & Found” project was born to show it to many people as an exhibition. This is a large exhibition that has been toured in Europe, America and Asia, starting with the Akaseya Gallery, and was highly evaluated. This is a book that summarizes a series of projects for nearly five years.
