Beyond Maps and Atlases is a photo book by Bertian van Mannen, one of the leading female photographers in the Netherlands. Born in The Hague in 1942, he grew up in an ordinary family living in the town of coal mine immigrants and was sent to a nun's boarding school at the age of 12 and began to experience art. He says he got married and had two children, and that recording those children helped him become interested in photography. Although he started photography in earnest in the 1970s after passing the age of 30, he was involved in fashion photography, but Robert Frank's "The Americans" changed his life and became a documentary road. Fan Mannen, who has published many photo books in recent years, is a book composed of illustrations taken in Ireland in the 2010s. I lost my husband during this trip, and I feel a sense of nostalgia and life and death.
