"Stranger", a collection of works by British female photographer Olivia Arthur. With her husband and partner, photographer Philipp Ebeling, Olivia runs the exhibition "Fish Bar", a renovation of the first floor of his house, holds exhibitions and publishes photo books. In 2013, he became a member of Magnum Photo at a young age, and in 2018, he participated in the project "HOME" jointly conducted by Magnum and FUJIFILM, capturing the series and the family until birth. This is the second book following the 1st "Jeddah Diary" and is a collection of works set in Dubai. 238 people died in 1961 when a ship sank at the port of Dubai, but the bodies of all were not found and some families are still looking for their whereabouts. Olivia makes a fiction about what survivors will visit in Dubai 50 years from now and describes what they might have seen in his photo book. To express that fictional story, the photos are printed on tracing paper, the resulting plates are printed lightly, and the images overlap. The feeling of floating is exquisitely expressed through the paper and layout, and it will stimulate various imaginations for the reader. Limited to 1000 copies.
