Born in Singapore, and now a UK-based photographer and filmmaker, Simon Wheatley's work collection "Don't Call Me Urban! The Time of Grime ”. Born 1970, moved to England for teenagers and graduated from Manchester University in 1993. After moving to Budapest, he started taking photographs seriously, shooting youth culture in Amsterdam and elsewhere. Since returning to England, he has been shooting the poor areas of London and the grime scene, and since working on Grime, he has also been active in commercial work related to fashion and music.
