A photo collection by Japanese photographer Kishin Shinoyama, "Olere Olala (Signed)". This book was published in 1971, a few years before Kishin Shinoyama's masterpieces "Sunny Day" and "House" from his early days in the 1970s, when he was just 30 years old. It is a human documentary that captures the carnival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which takes place every February to March. Kishin Shinoyama flew to the other side of the world and boldly released the shutter, as if his instinct as a photographer to witness the world's largest festival where people lose themselves in excitement and meet free and open-minded people was awakened. Like many photographers who were fascinated by the turbulent New York of the 1960s, Shinoyama also captured the enthusiastic scene of Rio, full of thrilling excitement that cannot be experienced in Japan, in vivid color. In addition, this photograph taken in Rio was later re-shot by Nobuhiko Obayashi with a 16mm movie camera and made into a movie. A masterpiece by Kishin Shinoyama in his younger days, full of momentum and power. Art direction by Shozo Tsurumoto. Signed with due respect .
