A collection of works by a female photographer, Eiko Yamazawa (1899-1995), who had been active since the war. Combined with the popularity of recent photos and photo albums, the re-evaluation of photographers who have been active in the 20th century and the movement of reprinting work collections are conspicuous. Eiko Yamasawa's name was not well known except for photographers, but it became famous at the exhibition held in Nishinomiya City Otani Memorial Museum of Art and Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography in 2019. This book is a collection of catalog works published at the time of the exhibition. Yamazawa studied photography in the United States before the war, founded a studio since the 1930s, has been active as a commercial photographer, and was a pioneer of a female photographer who had many business people in the Kansai region. Since the 1960's, he has withdrawn from the commercial world and immersed himself in the production of abstract works such as paintings centered on color, and published a series entitled "What I am doing". This book contains 158 illustrations, from their masterpieces to those shot in the United States before the war.
