"Northern (Signed)" is a photo book by Daido Moriyama, the leading photographer in Japan. This book is a photo book published in conjunction with the exhibition "Hokkaido Preface" which was held in 2009 at the Sapporo Miyanomori Museum and other places in Hokkaido. Moriyama, who stayed in Hokkaido for three months in 1978, remained asleep for nearly 30 years without printing a large number of negatives, except for contributing a part of it to a camera magazine. The exhibition began in Hokkaido in June 2009, and has continued to be exhibited in Hokkaido until 2011 ("Chapter 2 / Development" and "Final Chapter"), and three books including the "Northern" series have been published. I am. Before 1978, he seemed to have been to Hokkaido on a one-time basis, but since "Goodbye to Photography" (1972), the reality of his own photography has diminished, and Moriyama in a slump state has reached "Tono". It was Hokkaido. There are a lot of snaps with deep locality such as the northern earth and Ainu, but there are also downtown areas, but it seems that Hokkaido's life oozes out in the cold scenery and rustic everyday life. The interview also includes an interview with Moriyama. Signed by photographer .
